A new report by comScore into how Chinese internet users spend their time online indicates that with regards to retail sites, those owned by the Alibaba corporation – including marketplace Taobao – are the most popular.
The study, released June 8 and conducted by digital analysis firm comScore examined how internet users in Greater China (mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) aged over 15 spent their time on the internet – the study did not include sites accessed from internet cafés, mobile phones or PDAs.
